Bob: I think we’ve got everything, apart from shampoo.

Emma: That’ll be with the toiletries, in the aisle where we got the toothpaste.

Bob: You mean we have to go back to the start of the shop? Why do I always take a trolley that won’t push straight?

Emma: Well, let’s hurry up - there’s a big queue at the checkout.

Bob: Oh, we need breakfast cereal. It used to be beside the preserves, but I didn’t see anywhere I got the chutney.

Emma: Look, there’s some opposite the fish counter. The muesli is on special offer. Shall we try that?

Bob: Well just check it’s not genetically modified first.

Emma: It’s not. It contains pieces of orchard fruits ... sounds quite tasty, actually.

Bob: Speaking of orchards, we didn’t get any apples.

Emma: Fruit is this way...

Bob: They don’t seem to have any English apples. How about Chilean or Australian?

Emma: Those French Granny Smith’s look nice.

Bob: OK, let’s weigh them and head for the checkout. We’ll forget about the shampoo.

Emma: When we shop in supermarkets, we always end up with an overloaded trolley, but we forget the essentials.

Bob: Don’t worry. This place is open 24/7, so we can come I back tonight if you like...
